In 2010, in response to increasing demand from Africa, our sister company Ocean Food Holland was established to develop the trade of frozen fish for KappersFoods.
Our frozen fish categories
Ocean Food Holland provides a complete range of whole round frozen fish in three major categories:
Farm raised fish, such as: Tilapia and Pangasius
Pelagic fish, such as: Mackerel, Horse Mackerel, Sardine and Sardinella
Other species, such as: Yellow Croaker, White Croaker, Hake, Seatrout, Mullet and Yellow Tail
Certainty in quality
Fish is a delicate product and needs to be handled with special care. That’s why KapperFoods makes sure all its fish is thoroughly inspected before it is loaded onto the containers. This is done by SGS, Veritas or a similar certified company.

Our main purchase markets are:
Asia: for Tilapia and Pangasius
Europe, Asia and Africa: for Pelagic fish
South America: for other species
Private labels
For Tilapia and Pangasius we use two private labels: Ocean Food Holland and Blue Crown Fish. Both of these private labels are highly respected in West African countries.
